The Cloud Support Analyst role is for people who are passionate about helping others. You will be communicating with our Cloud Manager and customers in a variety of industries, working with them to address any type of issue that arises from using our Doxis software as a service.
SER is looking for an experienced Cloud Support Analyst to expedite issue resolution with diligent attention to details, a high degree of accountability for our fast-growing SaaS system. As part of our support team based in Oporto, you will also help maintain our cloud system, provide post-issue analysis, and serve as a program resource for delivering SLAs that impact system availability, scalability, reliability, and security for SER’s SaaS cloud offering.

This is how you succeed
- You will run incident resolution, facilitating teamwork with other departments as required
- You will be available for on call 24/7 incident resolution in case of an availability alarm is triggered
- You will check SER Cloud system diagnostics, investigate system performance issues, monitor availability, and document issues as appropriate, in order to meet the in place SLAs
- You will be building scripts for operational automation and incident response
- You work with development teams and professional services to troubleshoot more complex issues
- You will provision and deploy cloud tenant for new Customers over public clouds.
- You will integrate cloud tenants with Customer’s premises and users over the web.
- You will contribute to the SOC2 certification process in accordance with industry standard methodologies
This is what you bring to SER
- You have a High School or BTEC diploma in Information Technology, or a related technology field or a comparable education
- You have experience in support
- You bring at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:
- Systems administration in Linux/Unix and Windows.
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc)
- Experience with some scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Python, etc.
- Initial experience in the following areas is desirable:
- AWS or Azure services
- Exposure to security concepts / best practices
- Expertise with IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools
- Experience with Disaster Recovery concepts and corresponding backup/restore policies
- You like to learn the latest technologies and are open to be available for on call support working - including overnight
- You enjoy teamwork and communication in English
