JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a professional to join the customer's team.

Responsibilities

- As a Cloud Engineer, you will be involved in the overall planning, further development and control of our public cloud environments (AWS and/or

Azure);

- You are part of the team that sets trends in the cloud development of GLS;

- You support and supervise the internal project teams in setting up infrastructures in the cloud;

- In cooperation with our cloud specialists, you will independently develop best practices and architecture patterns;

- You will independently evaluate new products and services and proactively introduce suitable services into our environments;

- You keep an eye on the current trends in cloud computing and cloud security;

Requirements

- Relevant experience in comparable IT Infrastructures (AWS and/or Azure);

- Practical experience with modern container-based application architectures (Docker, Kubernetes);

- Initial knowledge of modern cloud infrastructures in multinational companies (multi-tenant) is an advantage;

- You are an absolute team player;

- Formation: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar.

- Language: English at the B2 or higher level (of the European framework of reference for languages).

- Experience: minimum 3 years.
