We are looking for a Cloud Engineer-AWS for a project based in Lisbon.

SKILLS:
 

• 3+ years of automating AWS platform services;
• Indepth knowledge of Cloud Formations and preferably a sounding understanding of the CDK;
• Thorough comprehension of CI/CD services;
• In-depth knowledge of Automation, Monitoring and Management;
• Scripting in Ruby/Bash/Powershell/Python;
• Development of on premise CI/CD Pipeline technologies - Jenkins / Bamboo / Bitbucket / Sonarqube / npm / nexus / JIRA (Atlassian products);
• Project management approaches - Agile / Scrum;
• Strong written documentation skills;
• Change management – adhering to ITIL procedures to ensure that any changes are carried out successfully;
• Problem management – liaising with relevant parties to achieve a resolution;
• Project management – experience of managing or working on projects;
• English mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the AWS Backlog to maintain and enhance the Cloud Platform
• Work on BAU tickets in relation to service requests and incidents of the Cloud Platform
• Ensure infrastructure as code
• Assist the Application DevOps teams in transitioning to the cloud
• Ensure the cloud guardrails are maintained and enforced
• Join Cloud CoE to provide best practices and advice on developing Cloud Formation templates
• Keep up to date with existing and emerging technologies and integrate with the development/architecture teams of their suitability for internal use
• Write and maintain automation scripts and configuration management tooling
• Work in a DevOps methodology
• Interfacing with global stakeholders from IT and business units .
