Job brief

We are looking for a Business Process Manager to join our IT department whowill be evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor and control business processes and ensure that business process outcomes are in harmony with our organization’s strategic goals. The BPM will insure the organization’s work is aligned with business standards and company expectations. This position will develop new standards, evaluate existing standards, as well as address deviation requests. The BPM will focus on process from beginning to end, introducing innovation that can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its business objectives and goals. The Business Process Manager will report directly to the Chief Operational Officer.

Responsabilities

  • Works with others to translate and build execution strategies, which path long-term plans into short-term actions.
  • During the design and delivery of new or revised processes, identifies risks and creates mitigation strategies to resolve and drive improved outcomes.
  • Ensures that processes meet the documented needs of the business. Identifies gaps, issuesand inconsistenciesand escalates to COO or other Leadership Team member.
  • Reviews and drives solutions to allow business practicesto clearly and accurately enhance delivery of company objectives.
  • Ensures that all phases of process development are documented and that informationrequired in other functional areas is reported, disseminated or transferred, as appropriate.
  • Manages cross practice or process requirements and escalates issues as appropriate.
  • Identifies, documents and manages process inter-dependencies.
  • Ensures company processes, practices and standards are communicated and understood throughout the organization.
  • Supports development of improved business processes, identifies and incorporates best practicesand creates organizational benchmarks.
  • Reporting, Managing and Monitoring
  • Intervenes as necessary and supports standards across the company.
  • Collaborates with teams across the broader organization to insure alignment in work, processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent,
  • 2+ years’ experience planning and/or management of business processes
  • Extensive use of and proficiency in all MS Office products, especially a high degree of proficiency using Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and related databases a plus.
  • The position will require significant interpersonal skills and relationship development across the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability and track record of delivery
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
