Our client's business intelligence department is looking for an enthusiastic BI Developer / data analyst to help build the data blending processes for internal analyses within the existing Python/SQL infrastructure.

• Help to establish a working Business Intelligence Department

• Collaborate with the team to best understand their operational and strategic needs in terms of data analyses

• Identify business and operational opportunities to generate value for the team

• Work closely with clients during application roll-out and all stages of the application life cycle

• Assist the team at all stages of the developed solutions' life cycle

• Contribute to disseminate a culture of data driven solutions within the team

• Develop and share best practices with the other internal data oriented teams

• Build data models, i.e., collect, understand and transform data

• Develop & deliver data-driven insight to our team

Profile

• University Degree with a specialization in engineering, mathematics, statistics or data science

• 2-3 years of working experience

• Fluent in English

• Experience in working in complex multi-dimensional problems and in software development

• Exposure to data & analytics product life-cycle and to data visualization tools and techniques

• DBA skills (Transact-SQL)

• Programming skills (Python)

• Knowledge of ETL

• Knowledge of Data Visualization

• Ability to think abstractly and creatively

• Synthesis skills: ability to explain the results of a model and the different elements impacting it

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a changing environment
