Description

Our client is a leading bank in Europe, and one of the 10th largest banks in the World. It has a presence in 80 countries, with more than 200,000 employees. We’re looking for talented IT professionals to work as Business Analysts (m/w) that will join our team located in Lisbon.

Main activities:

Under the responsibility of the Division Manager and/or Program Director, candidate will:

- Perform Business Analysis tasks on operational banking process and fiscal / tax / legal related implementations with a particular focus on Wealth Management portfolio’s management, banking operational processes (global custody) and corporate actions.

- Interact with various business representatives

- Ensure proper documentation of requirements, process mapping, workflow diagramming

- Document business rules, perform feasibility studies, and impact analysis

- Ensure quality assurance by validating IT solution and coordinating with business users

- Conduct change management to the end users

- Create training materials and documentation and train new end users on related applications 

- Support and promote continuous improvement of the services and applications

Qualifications and Experience :

- 8 years+ experience in Business Analysis in a financial institution

- Strong Functional knowledge of Back Office processes, Tax & Legal (FACTA, IRS871m, AEOI) is a definitive advantage, as well as knowledge of financial products, and trade life cycle obtained either though an IT core system implementation project or via positions held within the Operations department of a Bank.

- Strong exposure to corporate actions, derivatives (performance, Tax reporting oriented)  

- Experience on Tax and/or Legal (IRS) systems (FiTax and Easy-tax from Bearing Point) is a plus
