The Business Analyst will engage with Finance Stakeholders and the Program Team in defining KPI's and Finance Business Reporting requirements to be developed and published in Power BI.

Description

  • Proactively identifying KPI's and Finance Business Reporting requirements aligned to Finance Roadmap within the Program
  • Ability to engage with Finance Stakeholders in defining Business Reporting with value added solutions that build upon the existing Data Management capabilities
  • Ability to engage with the Program Team in providing Business approved Requirements to Technical Team for development
  • Supporting the Finance Technical Team through the full development lifecycle and UAT with Business End Users
  • Ability to work with large data sets and identify optimized solutions
  • Researching best practices across a variety of industries and disciplines and translates into relevant actions for data management improvements within the company
  • Displaying organizational savvy and knows how to leverage networks to bring information and points of view from different areas inside and outside the company
  • Actively challenging the status quo and capitalizing areas for improvement
  • Maintaining balanced and well-reasoned position in the face of resistance

Profile

  • Good analytical problem-solving ability. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex Business processes, incorporating data gathered from a variety of sources in defining Business Requirements to be used by the Technical Development Team
  • Minimum of 5 years' Business Analyst experience in a Finance environment, preferable with in depth knowledge of SAP and knowledge of Hyperion
  • Ability to proficiently use software tools to analyze data and identify and solve complex problems (SAP, excel)
  • Experience in working with onshore and offshore Teams, ensuring full scope deliverables on time and on budget with high quality results
  • Understanding how to create and apply new approaches to solving business problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and understanding of Finance Business processes
  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work with limited guidance and able to determine information needed to resolve more complex issues, manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks
  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities across full development lifecycle
  • Being able to work to tight deadlines and with changing Business priorities
  • Proactive and creative in terms of improving ways of working
  • Team player
