Biomedical/Data Engineer (Data Science | Machine Learning)

iLoF, an Oxford-based, Artificial Intelligence and Photonics enabled MedTech company, is seeking a Biomedical Engineer with background and experience in Data Science, Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
Background: Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering or Electrical Engineering
Requisites:
- Work experience: >2 years;
- Knowledge about signal processing pipelines (preferably applied to biological-based signals);
- Hands-on experience with features engineering, machine Learning/artificial Intelligence approaches (models’ creation, validation, testing);
- Experience with the following programming /scripting languages: Python, Matlab, R, C;
- Deep knowledge about statistical methods, analysis and mathematical modeling;
- Experience in developing data structures (databases) and algorithms and relevant metrics to support decisions;
- Open-minded, Hands-on attitude and good command of English language.
Responsibilities:
- Develop necessary scripts to run data analysis (classification, summarization and topic extraction using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques);
- Develop signal processing and features creation pipelines;
- Conduct tests on data platforms;
- Provide recommendations to improve data quality;
- Research, design new ideas and develop them in real world;
- Maintain the data mining solution libraries, data visualisations and analytics results.
