Description

• As a BI Engineer with a focus on BI modeling, you will manage the data cleaning pipeline, apply analytic methodologies and data visualization techniques, set up BI dashboards and create new analysis, generate insights and communicate them back to the team. Your end-products will include business models, scenario planners, reporting dashboards or data visualizations. Together with consulting teams, project managers and clients you will understand client and project requirements and discuss how to best implement new or customized analytics. Utilizing BI (e.g. PowerBI or Qlik) or other visualization tools, you will support the creation of analysis, KPIs and dashboards or use statistical packages like R or Python to write customized reports
• Another important part of your work is the continuous development and improvement of our data models and reports to analyze procurement data. Here you will work closely with our Software Development and Data Science teams to create scalable solutions that can be brought to hundreds of clients per year

Profile

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, quantitative methods, computer science, engineering, finance etc.)
• Up to 8 years of hands-on experience in reporting, data analytics, data engineering or business intelligence
• Experience with building interactive visualization and BI platforms (PowerBI/R Shiny/Tableau/Qlikview etc.)
• Strong abilities in the field of large data handling through one or multiple of the following: Microsoft SQL (T-SQL), Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Alteryx, Snaplogic, Talend, Python
• Basic understanding of purchasing, procurement processes, sourcing and saving opportunity identification will be an advantage
• Solid problem-solving capabilities
• Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills in English
