JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a professional to join the team of a client in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

- Develop, support, and maintain BI solutions and various BI projects;

-Ensure proper architectural structures on applications, changes, and related databases;

- Be accountable for critical ETL SLA's with financial implications to client business;

- Optimize and tune performance of SSIS, SQL, and database structures;

- Create and develop advanced data warehouse and reporting solutions;

- Play an integral role in data modeling, data quality assessment, and data delivery;

- Work closely with the business on requirements and functional specifications;

- Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation;

- Share knowledge and expertise within the team, maintaining documentation and training docs training materials.

Requirements

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related suite of technologies;

- Knowledge of ETL processes, SSRS/SSIS/SSAS, data integration and migration, Data Warehousing, DataMart, relational and multi-dimensional databases;

- Experience with Analytic and Reporting solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar technologies) (is a plus);

- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practices and source control systems;

- Relevant working experience in insurance, banking or other large complex business is considered a plus;

- Flexible, independent, innovative, proactive, and highly responsible towards team and tasks;

- Result-focused and decisive in decision-making situations;

- Strong communication and social skills

- Education: Bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 

- Language: English at the B2 or higher level (of the European framework of reference for languages).

- Experience: 2 - 4 anos years of experience as a BI Developer
