Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar
• Solid Knowledge in Unix Platform, Open Source languages
• Proven Knowledge with OSS
• Good command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions according to requirements, assist new feature solutions and bug fixing
• Work with a team of programmers to bring brand new concepts to market
• Estimate effort and track hours for assigned work

Competencies 

• Strong work ethic and motivation 
• High level of initiative, responsibility and team spirit keeping creative mind with strong critical thinking skills 
• Ability to work well in a team environment, and willingness to learn and teach others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English. 

Technical Skills 

• Valuable knowledge in software development
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL or Redis
• Knowledge in at least one server-side programming languages like Python, Perl, PHP, Go, or Node.js
• Solid knowledge of Web service protocols, e.g., HTTP and a good understanding of API development and REST
• Experience with Git and Agile development
• Devops knowledge is considered a plus
