We are a team of 40+ employees. We work in small agile teams, made up of people with diverse competencies and responsibilities, but where everyone is directly involved in the whole cycle of software development. Our main office is at Kungsholmstorg in central Stockholm and we have additional offices in Portugal and Serbia. 

We work on two of the world's strongest e-commerce platforms; Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Backend Developer to strengthen our Salesforce Commerce Cloud development team in our Évora’s office. 

As a developer, you should have a big passion for software development, be willing to grow, learn and innovate.

You will have the opportunity to work with international clients and in challenging digital commerce projects of great complexity.

We work in small agile teams, composed of elements with diverse competencies and responsibilities, but where everyone is directly involved in the whole cycle of software development.

In this role, you are expected to develop and deliver back-end solutions on the commerce cloud platform for existing and new customers. Furthermore, we expect you to help other developers in development and quality.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow and promote the best quality practices regarding the different software development components (design, coding, scalability, architecture, and testing);

• Develop, report, and test different solutions regarding specifications and details planned in advance;

• Manage your own time in an autonomous and efficient manner;

• Be an active presence in mentoring junior team members;

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer Science or related technical degree; 

• 3+ years of experience working with web development and e-commerce;

• Good technical knowledge in web-based development with a focus on Javascript and SQL;

• Salesforce platform knowledge (Apex, Lightning Components, Process Builders, Flows, Visualforce, Triggers, Force.com APIs, and Web Services);

• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration;

• Experience working with agile development/SCRUM;

• Fluent in English is mandatory (written and spoken);

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of MVC architecture;

• Understand the concepts of Test Driven Development;
