We are looking for a Backend Developer (Laravel) for a project based in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

• Form a core part of the Agile team with the development function;
• Mainly focused on the backend Laravel based systems but with a requirement to also work on Frontend Vue.js codebase;
• Assist our Head of Architecture in respect of systems architecture discussions and decisions;
• Provide mentoring to more junior team members;
• Where required provide assistance in the ongoing maintenance of our legacy DNS Dashboard system;

 
SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in the area of Computer Science);
• A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a commercial development role with a desire to take a more pro-active role in defining the development function and its implementation;
• Strong Laravel development skills are essential;
• Strong experience in the use of SQL databases (specifically MySQL) is essential;
• Strong experience in Vue.js (or similar framework);
• Previous practical experience of systems architecture design is desirable;
• Commercial experience in working as part of an Agile development team is highly desirable;
• English C1 spoken/written.
