The job

We're looking to hire someone keen to have her/his work served 50+ million times per month in Portugal, and growing. We have a complex Microservices setup with 25+ services keeping many different features alive. Come join our team of six developers and designers. All of us know how to work with each other in a flat hierarchy that allows all of us to have considerable ownership of our tasks, so that we can continuously improve and launch a variety of functionalities on observador.pt

This position can be fully remote, but requires a compatible timezone and fluent portuguese knowledge, since that is our day to day working language.

Requirements

* A minimum of 3 years professional experience
* Good programming skills with backend languages, like Golang or PHP, etc...
* MySQL or Postgres
* Managing infrastructure with code (something like Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, etc.)
* Fluency in Portuguese, good english knowledge

Nice to haves notions of

* Golang
* PHP
* Front End (JS frameworks, HTML, CSS)
* Redis or others NoSql databases
* Knowledge of message queue systems (like Rabbit, ActiveMQ, etc)

* Location: Alvalade, Lisbon or Remote (close to PT timezone)
