To reinforce our team we are looking to fill the following position:

Back-End Developer (M/F)

Hovione is looking for a Back End Developer to integrate our Applications Development team. The Back End Developer will be directly involved in building cutting-edge solutions for our Digitalization initiative to bring Hovione in line with Industry 4.0 standards.

The successful candidate will be working on Hovione’s REST integration platform providing integration services to corporate applications, as well as integrating with other products from the Digitalization initiative, such as solutions developed by our Data Science team.

As a Back-End Developer you'll be responsible for:

• Working on Hovione’s REST integration platform providing integration services to corporate applications;
• Integrating with other products from the Digitalization initiative, such as solutions developed by our Data Science team;

We are looking for:

• A Candidate with a degree in IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems);
• At least 3-year professional experience in server-side development, preferably using Node.js and Express;
• Experience with Microservices architecture using Docker;
• Experience in RESTful API development, automated testing (Mocha, Chai) and documentation (Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0);
• Experience in database design, integration of multiple data sources and databases;
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and basic knowledge of at least one OOP language;
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins);
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks such as Angular;
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of Oracle and MongoDB is also relevant;
• Excellent communication in English (verbal & written);
• Autonomous, results-oriented individual with track record of timely, high quality deliverables with a focus on the Customer.
