Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

•Designing functionality and solution data pipelines as a data engineer developer and data architect;
•Developing data pipelines using NIFI and Azure Data Factory best practices;
•Develop data transformation functions in Python, Spark, Java;
•Knowledge about Database fundamentals;
•Design and develop for cloud services, following design for cost and security best practices;
•Making complex technical solution design decisions and develop features;
•Developing application unit tests;
•Create Data Pipelines for batch and streaming data feeds;
•Create spark jobs in Python to process data;
•Design and implement Data Workflows and Orchestration processes;
•Design repository structure for both file (unstructured) and database storage (structured).

Main Technical Requirements:

•2+ years of experience in data engineering;
•BSc or MSc in computer science or relevant field;
•Experience with Azure data tooling (Databricks, Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake);
•Experienced in SQL Databases;
•Preferably skilled in Python & Spark;
•Experience with building ETL data pipelines.

•EU citizenship;
•Attention to detail, rigor and discipline;
•Ability to simplify complex problems and obtain a workable solution;
•Customer focus and service delivery;
•High proficiency in English Verbal and Written communication.
