STEFANINI is hiring AWS Solutions Architects to join one of its clients operating in Lisbon within the telecom sector.

Your role as a Solutions Architect:

- To have a deep technical understanding of the domain and the components within it, including the interactions between the components and the external consumers, intra and extra domain. The Solutions Architect should be comfortable with coding practices and patterns. Being able to understand code and configurations within his responsibility domain.
- Being able to advise development teams and operational teams on architectural concerns, including scalability, resilience, maintainability, security. Advise as well on technology choices within the domain and alignment with other areas in the company.
- The solutions architect should be comfortable to define solutions for new components, changes and impact assessments with impacts within the domain as well as being able to assist teams with defect identification and rectification.
 

Core functions:

- Keep a holistic view of the system, inner components and dependencies;
- Understand the dependencies on external entities and systems;
- Guarantee alignment between the development teams;
- Coordinate with the teams to have a clear technical roadmap, crossing it with the running projects and team availability;
- Support impact analysis for changes to the existing systems;
- Create high-level designs for new projects and changes;

Job requirements:

• Good technical skills on AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, design patterns and pitfalls;
• Strong analysis skills, ability to interpret results and identify bottlenecks, degradation, etc.;
• Understanding of resource management mechanisms: connection pools, thread pools, heaps, etc.;
• Distributed message systems knowledge;
• Nice to have: azure knowledge, google cloud knowledge, previous experience with telecom clients
