Thus, we are now looking for a new Application Support Analyst willing to accept new challenges!

Summary: We are looking for a dynamic individual to integrate a functional support team in Lisbon, who will manage the support of two business production platforms, globally, in collaboration with a Prime brokerage support team in Paris and a Derivatives Execution team in London, while interacting daily with multiple Investment banking actors from Front to back, as well as business analysts and developers.

Your main activities will revolve on providing level 2 technical and functional application support for Brokerage, manage internal end users requests while assisting the internal users on the applications and resolving queries from end users with respect to the systems supported (including but not limited to incorrect data issues and ensuring feeds into the system in a timely manner).

It'll be required of you to ensure that root cause analysis has been found and solutions implemented to prevent repeat occurrence. You'll have to perform change management (plan, test and release functional fix), while Writing documentation on new functional features, maintaining and enhancing current business processes, performing follow up the functional platforms, new process and features implementation, and doing Incident and Problem management (documenting solutions to common problems).

You must have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area is required;
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment;
  • English Proficiency;
  • Knowledge in financial markets;
  • Knowledge on SQL, UNIX, ServiceNow, Calypso and Excel;
  • Knowledge on ITIL processes and practices;
  • Investment banking experience;
  • Strong ability to think outside of the box and to provide robust solutions to daily problems;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced growing environment with speed and accuracy while maintaining attention to detail;
