Description

Dellent is a Portuguese company focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services.

In this project you will be able to contact with one of the key players in banking in the EU and around the world. Thus, you will be part of a multicultural team that is spread across more than 50 countries and you will help develop solutions in one of these three areas: investments, business solutions or commercial/personal services.

We are looking for an Aplication Support Analyst (Calypso) to work in a project in Lisbon.

What are we looking for?

- Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent;     
- IT working experience;
- Good understanding of the ITIL norm and practices;
- Knowledge and/or experience of the financial services industry;
- Prior experience in application support;
- Experience and ability to perform technical analysis, identify impacts (functional/technical);
- Experience of working with applications with many interfaces to other applications;
- Good understanding of RDBMS concepts ; Proficiency in Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server;
- At least 1 year working experience with UNIX and its standard commands;
- Knowledge of DataStage TX (desirable);
- Knowledge of PowerShell Scripts (desirable);
- Knowledge of Calypso (desirable);
- Autonomous, rigorous with a high personal commitment;
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and prioritize work against competing deadlines and changing business priorities;
- Fluent in English.


Responsabilities:

- Understand the application landscape, develop expertise of the application/s and understand various interfaces involved;
- Define new practices/processes when needed;
- Write new procedures and ensure their collective ownership;
- Re-instate services as soon as possible whenever an incident occurs;
- Monitor environments and KPIs:
- Suggest changes, improvements so as to continuously improve global level of service;
- Identify recurring Issues and service Request and define action plans to reduce them.
