Our client is a leading bank in Europe, and one of the 10th largest banks in the World. It has a presence in 80 countries, with more than 200,000 employees. We’re looking for talented Agile Test Developer, that will join our team located in Lisbon.

Role:
- The Test Developer role calls for a positive and proactive approach, a clear mind and the ability to work to very high standards and challenging timescales;
- You should also have a passion for all things testing and pay great attention to detail;
- Experience of defect management processes, Agile Project Management principles, the understanding of leading edge best practices in testing and the ability to suggest innovative solutions to testing challenges are needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical proficiency;
- Knowledge of industry leading Test Tools and how to use them in a Continuous Integration context;
- An individual who identifies all components of the QA plan i.e. frequency, length and timescales of test cycles and different types of test such as Usability, Stress & Volume, Integration, Multi-user and System test;
- Contributes to the overall QA plan;
- Design, implement & run tests, either relying on automated tools or in a manual way when needed;
- Revises and re-estimates efforts in the QA plan when necessary;
- Assists test manager in building the project plan concerning all QA effort;
- Is proactive in identifying current and future problems within QA and the project and can take corrective action on current issues and prevent future issues from arising.

Expected Profile:
- Automatic test coverage tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Junit, Mockito;
- Continuous integration platforms and modules including Jenkins, Sonar;
- Test management tools such as quality center;
- Ability to write code in Java;
- Understanding of JavaScript & SQL languages;
- Agile Software Development experience such as Kanban, Scrum, XP;
- Highly experienced tester and test planner;
- Takes ownership of overall software quality;
- A genuine interest in the latest cutting edge technology;
- Experience and belief in Test Driven Development is a key requirement;
- Background in financial services ideal;
- Dedicated experience in the Funds Management industry would be a key differentiator,
- The ability to thrive in an innovative and ambiguous working environment;
- You are a strong team player with a high degree of flexibility;
- High energy, dynamic, results focused and a team player;
- Availability to work abroad for period of one to two weeks.
