What are you going to do?

  • Development and design in the product line Launcher as Design Engineer in the respective project;
  • Leading and carrying out the design work with the aim of a technically and economically optimal product development;
  • Supervision of the design up to the acceptance, optionally up to the successful start;
  • Creation of 3D Models and technical documentation like subassembly plans, single parts and assembly drawings, parts lists and specifications and test samples with the help of CAD and SAP and PC applications;
  • Preparation of proposals for a variation evaluation (Trade-Off);
  • Perform Concept, Design and Drawing Reviews;
  • Coordination with Jigs & Tools design, MAIT and manufacturing;
  • Coordination between disciplines in close collaboration with Systems Engineering, Analysis and Project;
  • Creation of bid and presentation documents and brief descriptions of the design proposals;
  • Incorporate and develop advanced concepts, technologies and materials in collaboration with the technology group and manufacturing and J&T design.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 10 year’s experience in mechanical engineering and/or aerospace engineering;
  • Design apprentice/education in mechanical engineering;
  • Good communication, cooperation and organization skills, willingness to take responsibility;
  • Pro-active team player with the mission for ensuring design quality;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Other language skills, e.g. Swedish, German and French (optional).
